Organic Candy

Do you want to offer more responsible and healthier candies for 🎃 a more sustainable trick-or-treat experience for the neighborhood children? 👧🏽👦🏼

A healthier Easter Box, or safer birthday treats and better candies for any occasion?

Great, this page is for you!
🙅Decide that this year, you will not give your money to large candy companies, who continue to sell large bags of traditional candies, lollypops, caramels, and chocolate, all full of additives, GMOs, artificial colors and flavors, and PALM OIL!

Palm kernel oil (conflict palm oil) comes from Indonesia and Malaysia and is responsible for rainforest destruction and human rights abuses. Many companies (like Nutella) use conflict palm oil under different names, such as "vegetable oil," so be sure to read the labels!💃🏻

We have a choice and we have power by making that choice! By buying USDA organic candies, we are rewarding responsible companies and at the same time sending a clear message to the other companies that keep ignoring the health and environmental consequences of their products!

💚Thankfully, there are so many responsible companies making fun, tastier, safer, organic candies like these listed on this page!  🙏Your kids, neighbors' kids, and our planet will be grateful for that!

How to pick the best candies?

To get the best candies available, you will need to pick USDA Certified organic candies!

USDA Certified Organic: at least 95 %organic ingredients, excluding salt and water.

USDA Certified Organic foods are grown and processed according to federal guidelines addressing, among many factors, soil quality, animal raising practices, pest and weed control, and use of additives.

Organic candy companies rely on natural substances and physical, mechanical, or biologically based farming methods to the fullest extent possible. Organic products are inherently non-GMO.

Is sugar in your candy vegan (bone char free)?

Do you know that sugar can be made whitened with animal bone char?

Even if you are not vegan I find it to be something to avoid. To be sure your candies, gummies, cookies cakes, drinks, or chocolates have no bone-char sugar you would need to shop for USDA certified organic candies.

💐I listed all the approved brands made without junk ingredients but with healthier ingredients such as vegan sugar, conventional sugar is bone char animal-derived sugar, basically refined sugar is bleached with animal bones while USDA Certified organic sugar is not.

This chocolate is the perfect gift for the holidays to indulge in a guilty-free way with your family during your Birthday and for any family gathers!

In candies: Besides corn syrup, artificial colorants, char bone sugar, and preservatives, one ingredient, in particular, is also unhealthy for the environment!
🌴CONFLICT PALM KERNEL OIL  is the world’s least expensive vegetable oil, a highly-processed version of crude palm oil that is commonly used as ingredients in the industrially-produced packaged foods.
❌The palm kernel oil (conflict palm oil) comes from Indonesia and Malaysia and it is responsible for rainforest destruction and human rights abuses plus Palm kernel oil is unhealthy for the human body.
👉It goes by many names, including Palm Kernel Oil, Palmitate, Glyceryl Stearate, and Vegetable Oil.
🔎According to Amnesty AFAMSA, ADM, Colgate-Palmolive, Elevance, Kellogg’s, Nestlé, Procter & Gamble, Reckitt Benckiser, and Unilever are a few Global brands profiting from child and forced labour!
👉Corporate giants like Colgate, Nestlé, and Unilever assure consumers that their products use 'sustainable palm oil', but our findings reveal that the palm oil is anything but.

Sjaak's Organic Halloween Candies
organic halloween candies, organic halloween chocolate, sjaak's chocolate, vegan. kosher

🎃This Halloween give to your kids and neighborhood kids better and healthier candies!
Here is what you need to look for:
✅1. USDA certified organic seal: at least 95% of the ingredients are organic. no GMOs, no pesticides, no fertilizer, water, and soil preservation.
2. Vegan: animal-free products are more eco-friendly. no dairy, eggs, gelatin, or bone char sugar!
3. Allergies-free: gluten-free, dairy-free, and corn-free facility
❌Bone char is something that I truly avoid!
according to PETA:
“Bone char—often referred to as natural carbon—is widely used by the sugar industry as a decolorizing filter, which allows the sugar cane to achieve its desirable white color.
Bone char, which is used to process sugar, is made from the bones of cattle from Afghanistan, Argentina, India, and Pakistan.”
Bone char is also used in other types of sugar. Brown sugar is created by adding molasses to refined sugar, so companies that use bone char in the production of their regular sugar also use it in the production of their brown sugar.
Basically, it is in the majority of candies, and if you want to avoid it, choose USDA-Certified organic products!
💚Let’s support this California-based, family-owned, women-owned brand that makes healthy, handmade chocolate candies they would give to their own kids! Their mission is aligned with ingredients organically sourced and dedication to respect you, your kids, and the planet! 🌎
