The RealReal
This is for you if you want to buy/sell brands and designer pieces.
They guarantee that everything on their website is authentic and in good condition.
- They will offer Free At-Home Appointments, they will send one of their luxury managers to you to pick up your items.
- Or you can show up in one of their stores for an In-Store Appointment or Drop-off: You can simply stop by one of their 14 locations and let their experts do the rest.
- Or you can ship to them using their prepaid labels: Pack up your items and ship them with a free printed label or QR code.

Or you can schedule a pickup where they will pick up your items directly from your doorstep.
I tried all these options, and they were all very convenient and efficient. This allows us to repurpose the items we don't use, reduce waste, and receive payment for that. All in a very convenient and efficient way.
Commission rates vary based on price from 20% to 80%. The higher the value, and more you will receive.
Poshmark
On Poshmark you can list your items for sale in very few and simple steps, way easier and faster than eBay.
You will take pictures with your phone using their app, fill in a description, set the price and your listing is ready.
The shipping process is again better than eBay: they provide a pre-paid, pre-addressed label. You can use USPS priority boxes or your boxes, drop them off at a USPS mailbox, or even have it picked up for free from your home!
After the buyer receives the item, they will release the money to you within 3 days of delivery into your Poshmark account. You can withdraw the money via direct deposit to your bank account or request a check.
There is also a vacation mode and virtual Posh Parties to shop and sell.

For listings under $15, they charge a flat fee of $2.95.

For orders that are $15 and over, they keep 20% of the sale, and you get to keep 80%.
