Organic Plants

I am fascinated by the power of plants to not only improve the aesthetic of your rooms but also to improve the air quality.

Many houseplants help with filtering the toxins found indoors, some of them, even improve with molds such as English Ivy making them a preferred choice for bathrooms or another humid areas.

NASA has even studied plants for their ability to purify the air in preparation for use on orbiting space stations

some improve the oxygen in the night making them a preferred choice for bedrooms

  • 🌱 Spider Plants: are easy to maintain and eliminate xylene and formaldehyde. They grow well in hanging baskets and thrive in indirect sunlight and a range of temperatures.
  • 🌱 Snake Plants: are good for beginners because they are easy to care for and remove trichloroethylene, xylene, formaldehyde, toluene, and benzene from the air. They also release oxygen at night.
  • 🌱 Boston Fern: increases air quality, restores moisture, and acts as a humidifier.
  • 🌱 English Ivy: air purifier, reduces indoor air pollutants like formaldehyde, benzene, trichloroethylene, xylene, and toluene and removes mold and bacteria from the air as well. English ivy is considered one of the best plants for benzene reduction
