Reef-friendly sunscreen. Conventional sunscreens containing oxybenzone, oxtinoxate, and octisalate are responsible for bleaching our precious coral reefs. Choose mineral sunscreen and kip sunscreen spray, toxic to our lungs.

Check that your makeup or cosmetics are organic and don’t contain plastic, according to Greenpeace Italy, these makeup companies contain microplastic Lush 99%, Maybelline 85%, Deborah 84%, Sephora 83%, Wycon 78%.
check the label:
Microplastics are listed as Nylon, Polyethylene terephthalate (PET), Polyethylene (PE), Polypropylene (PP), Polymethyl methacrylate
In hand sanitizers as Carbomer, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer
🌎 More than ever, we should be eco-conscious in our actions. There will be a noticeable increase in plastic pollution due to the pandemic.
We have plastic regulations getting rolled back, while at the same time a major increase in the use of disposable plastic protective gear, such as gloves, which often can be seen discarded on the street.
🌱That’s why I gathered all products that are 100% biodegradable, compostable, non-toxic, and 100% plastic-free! We have the choice to not contribute to this plastic invasion worldwide and instead feel like eco-superheroes!
Protect yourself and the world at the same time!
🍃This year’s Earth Day is facing a bigger challenge: COVID-19 pandemic. With the use of disposable products and the need to disinfect, it accelerates pollution and releases toxic material into the environment.
The plastics industry is adding to the situation, and pushing even more during the pandemic to relax Plastic bag restrictions across the country.
🍃Studies warn that the virus may survive the longest on plastic and steel: according to NIH (National Institutes of Health, where Dr. Fauci’s is a physician): “COVID-19 was detectable in aerosols for up to 3 hours, up to 4 hours on copper, up to 24 hours on cardboard, and up to 2 to 3 days on plastic and stainless steel.
What can we do?
In this scenario, we can look for 🍃eco-friendly, recyclable gloves, 🍃organic hand sanitizers, 🍃biodegradable wipes, 🍃EPA non-toxic approved disinfectants🍃chlorine-free bleach, 🍃reusable masks, buy 🍃organic food that helps us to stay healthier, organic grocery and meal home-delivery, and reusable face masks! And shop less for unnecessary items. Don’t forget to sign the petition on closing wet markets!
Bonnie Bio products are all made from natural corn and vegetable ingredients with no chemical additives to ensure non-toxicity and allow for complete composting and biodegradability, yet they are as sturdy as traditional plastic. They are incredibly environmentally friendly as they break down back to CO2, water and biomass, which are renewable resources and they don’t leach any toxins into the environment whilst breaking down. We even use soy-based ink to print, which is eco-friendly.

💚 When we analyze a brand, we can scan for many things. It can be their product ingredients, their performance, their sustainability, their respect for us and for nature.
🍃 Eco-friendly, plastic-free packaging is a great way to spot a brand that is doing it right.
We know that not all plastic gets recycled and who wants plastic bottles leaking into our organic products and after use ending up in a landfill anyway?
🐠 Reason to not use plastic packaging:
Only 9% of plastic gets recycled
6.4 million tons of plastic are dumped into the ocean
It can take 20 to 1000 years for a plastic bag to break up
It kills over 1 million seabirds and 100.000 marine creatures every year
It may leach toxins into the product it contains, contaminating an otherwise organic formula
✅ The best option is to skip it and choose eco-friendly alternatives. Many eco brands are embracing this plastic-free approach by offering glass and metal containers or refill programs in plant-based bioplastic and paper. We can more comfortably reward them by supporting their products.
🌟 Like these USDA Certified Organic oil and balm by Badger Organic are a staple for me. They have only a few ingredients and I embrace them for their healing, soothing, and protecting properties such as certified organic olive oil, jojoba, chamomile, and calendula. They are great, not just for babies!
🌸Especially now, after one year of continuous use of hand sanitizer, our skin has absorbed a lot of alcohol, turning it dry. That’s why we need to renourish and replenish deeply our protective layers and these 🌿 USDA Certified Organic products are the best in terms of safety, respect, purity, healing properties, responsibility, and eco-friendliness. And their eco-packaging is so cute!
