The Green Fashion Week (GFW) is a non-profit event that purposes to promote the development of sustainable fashion, by giving designers the opportunity to showcase their eco-collections.
With talented and responsible designers as Sohad Acouri, Francesca Liberatore, Kristina Burja and David Tlale, who bring awareness through their creativity. Green Fashion Week opens the door to the Slow Fashion which considers the materials used, how the garment is made and who is making it, in order to be ethical without compromising on quality.
Their statment:"We believe in fashion – an industry which values people, the environment, creativity and profits in equal measure, and it’s everyone’s responsibility to ensure that this happens."
Fashion Revolution Week is their #whomademyclothes week to encourage millions of people to ask brands ‘Who made my clothes’ and demand greater transparency in the fashion supply chain.
