BURGER:

The best meat is USDA Certified Organic, pasture-raised, grass-fed made with other processed ingredients or oils.

When you eat not choosing certified organic, the animals are fed with GMOs corn or other ingredients not appropriate for them. 

 

VEGGIE BURGER

If you are looking for a vegan burger avoid:

Impossible Burger: its fake meat is made with the chemical-intensive farming practice that according to organic consumers, degrades the soil, destroys beneficial soil microbes, pollutes waterways with toxic pesticides. plus you are eating unhealthy ingredients such as GMO soy. 

According to Organic Consumers: Soy protein isolates and concentrates are made from defatted soybean flakes that have been washed in either alcohol or water to remove the sugars and dietary fiber. The flakes are then processed into powders or “flours.”

GMO soy, whether fed to cows or people, is bad for the environment.

GM soy is nutritionally inferior to organic, and that GM-soy contained high residues of glyphosate and its toxic breakdown product AMPA, while conventional and organic soybeans were free of these agrochemicals. 

INGREDIENTS: Water, soy protein concentrate, coconut oil, sunflower oil, natural flavors, 2% or less of: potato protein, methylcellulose, yeast extract, cultured dextrose, food starch-modified, soy leghemoglobin, salt, soy protein isolate, mixed tocopherols (vitamin E), zinc gluconate, thiamine hydrochloride (vitamin B1), sodium ascorbate (vitamin C), niacin, pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6), riboflavin (vitamin B2), and vitamin B12.

Beyond Burger: even it is  soy-free, it still has controversial ingredients 

INGREDIENTS:  Water, pea protein, expeller-pressed canola oil, refined coconut oil, rice protein, natural flavors, cocoa butter, mung bean protein, methylcellulose, potato starch, apple extract, pomegranate extract, salt, potassium chloride, vinegar, lemon juice concentrate, sunflower lecithin, beet juice extract (for color).

To start canola oil, which is high in omega-6 fatty acids that are associated with increased inflammation.

mung beans are a legume, with high concentrations of lectins, pro-inflammatory. 

methylcellulose: water-soluble polymer chemically modified from natural cellulose.

INGREDIENTS: Cooked Whole Grain Millet* (Water, Millet*), Kale* and/or Spinach*, Expeller pressed Oil* (Canola* and/or Sunflower* and/or Safflower*), Sweet Potato*, Potato Starch*, Ground Flaxseed*, Sea Salt, Apple Cider Vinegar*, Dried Onion*, Granulated Garlic*. *Organic. 

I only wish it didn't have canola oil, Organic coconut oil, oilve oil, and avocado oil are better alternatives to cheaper oils.

I only wish it had healthier oil such as  Organic cononut oil, oilve oil, and avocado oil are better alternatives to cheaper oils.
