  • ✅ Natural Leather: Durable, breathable, moisture absorbing and molds to your foot’s shape. Sourced from local tanneries that use chrome-free vegetable dyed leather, as well as tanneries that have a Leather Working Group certification: the world’s largest leather sustainability program that trains companies on best practices to reduce their environmental impact.

  • ✅ Cotton Canvas: Biodegradable, vegan, breathable, durable, and anti-mycotic. Cotton needs a lot of water to grow, but it produces the lowest carbon emissions out of any material.

  • ✅ Soy Protein: Origo sneaker soles combine thermoplastic rubber with a soy protein component, which helps the sole biodegrade faster. This material both lowers carbon emissions and results in less waste.

  • ✅ Natural Rubber: The Origo soles of the Huarache and New Derby are made of natural rubber.  Natural rubber soles are very flexible, shock-absorbent, and offer grip on slippery surfaces.
