Organic Cereals

On this page, you will learn to find how to pick the healthiest cereal!

Conventional Cereals

Avoid conventional cereals made by greedy and unhealthy brands using unnecessary fillers or cheap and controversial ingredients such as “artificial flavors”, artificial sweeteners, preservatives, colorants, GMOs, fertilizers, pesticides, and processed food. Using toxic practices that harm the customers, the workers, and the planet!

Glyphosate: Glyphosate has cytotoxic (cell toxicity) effects in humans; it fills food with chemicals and depletes its nutrients. 300 million pounds of glyphosate are used on farms each year in the U.S. They are destroying our fields and crops, depleting the soil of healthy and necessary nutrients for our food.

❌ Refined sugars and highly processed sweeteners. High-potency sweeteners drive cravings and trick the body into having more.

Greenwashing Cereals

Avoid greenwashing cereals made by brands that pretend to be better, healthier, or organic when they are not. They will use their misleading and deceiving marketing tricks to convince you to buy their products.

They add unnecessary filler or cheap and controversial ingredients such as “natural flavors”, or cheap or inflammatory ingredients such as canola oil, seed oils, or refined sugar.

Cereal with” natural flavors”.  They are manipulated in a lab, engineered to trick your body into eating more, by boosting “aromas or flavors”. “Natural” flavor legally can contain up to 20 different undisclosed ingredients/chemicals/stuff.

Inflammatory oils: safflower oil, sunflower oil, cottonseed oils, rapeseed oil,  and canola oil.

Refined grains. Grains like corn and wheat are commonly processed and refined carbohydrates that can cause inflammation and weaken the immune system.

Organic and Healthier Cereals

The best Organic cereals are made without additional unnecessary filler or cheap and controversial ingredients such as “natural flavors”, or cheap or inflammatory ingredients such as canola oil, seed oils, gluten, or refined grains and refined sugar, or high potency sweeteners such as stevia, monk fruit often found even in many USDA certified organic cereal brands!

✅ Gluten-free options: Organic Cassava Root is a better option. Unlike tapioca flour, cassava flour uses the entire root; so cassava keeps the fiber, protein, starch, vitamins, and minerals that would otherwise be lost in making tapioca flour. It is a sustainable root vegetable, a good source of resistant starch and prebiotic fiber to control blood sugar, and is 33% more expensive than tapioca. Since whole-food cassava flour is made with entire roots, it keeps fiber, protein, starch, minerals, and nutrients vitamin C, vitamin A, vitamin K, and folate. Like sweet potatoes, cassava can improve cholesterol profiles in humans. It supports gut health, blood sugar management, and heart health.

✅ Better Oils: organic coconut oil, avocado oil, and organic olive oil.

✅ Better sweeteners: organic raw honey, organic coconut sugar, organic dates, and organic maple syrup
