Fish are certainly the most famous source of omega-3 EPA and DHA. Fish get it from algae. Many avoid eating too much fish to help environmental preservation, because they are vegan or because are concerned over microplastics, mercury, and lead in ocean fish.

Farm Fish not only is not as healthy as wild caught fish, it vulnerable to disease and since fish obtain their EPA and DHA omega-3 from algae, farmed fish is not a preferred sources of these essential fats. 

Conventional Omegas

​❌ Avoid conventional omegas derived from fish oil as they are full of heavy metals including mercury!

We need to consider that they have a concentration of toxins and heavy metals: they are bringing to use large concentration of mercury They are found in krill and fish oil supplements and they all harms the body. I don’t trust when they claim to be tested and mercury-free, but you are having a bunch of fish mercury multiplied by many. Avoid this toxic heavy metal. One thing is to eat wild salmon (fish with less mercury content) once or twice a week, and their thing is to have a fish -mercury bomb every day.

Mercury found in fish oil supplements can go through the blood-brain barrier and reach sensitive organs, bypassing and disrupting the body’s systems.

Organic Plant-Based Omegas

The challenge: your body requires true omega-3 in the forms of EPA and DHA. Foods like flax, chia, and walnuts provide another form, ALA, that your body tries to convert into the good stuff, but science shows that, at best, we can convert 8% of that ALA into true omega-3.

The solution is algae which delivers real EPA and DHA, no conversion needed…and no disruption of the ocean, either. You need to get it from specific source: Chlorella and spirulina are wonderful sources of nutrition, however, they do not contain DHA or EPA.

I recommend only algae-derived omega, plant-based omega-3 supplements.
