Pact Organic

Pact Organic Clothing

Pact is my favorite and number one organic cotton brand recommendation.

🌎 10.5 million tons of textile waste end up in landfills every year just in the USA!

🌟Let’s reduce waste, and let’s pick better and safer clothing brands!

🌎We can either wait for the institutions to act to protect us, or we can take action to change the system by not feeding the wallets of these toxic and extremely wealthy companies. We can start now to protect our health and the health of the planet. While there are those who keep intoxicating us and polluting the world, it is up to us not to feed this unsustainable system.

How? Here is what you can do:

Take action now with your wallets to change the system and reward responsible and suitable brands. Choose organic and natural fiber such as cotton, but not just any cotton, but GOTS Certified Organic Cotton!

Pact Certified Organic Clothing

Sustainable fashion is possible!

The best and safest clothing and underwear are made by responsible brands that go above and beyond, and they get certified GOTS. The only way to know that cotton is truly organic is if it carries the GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standards) seal!

✅ The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibers, including ecological and social criteria, backed up by independent certification of the entire textile supply chain. It was created to set criteria for how fibers and textiles must be ginned, knitted, woven, dyed, manufactured, and labeled.

The standard covers the processing, manufacturing, packaging, labeling, trading, and distribution of all textiles made from certified organic natural fibers.

  • Organic: This label requires that a product contains at least 95% certified organic fibers.
  • Made with Organic: This label requires a minimum of 70% certified organic fibers.

The aim of the standard is to ensure the organic status of textiles, from harvesting of the raw materials, through environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing up to labeling.

🍃 GOTS Certification also certifies the product does not have toxic heavy metals, pesticides, GMO, chlorine bleaching, toxic dyes, PVC (all things that conventional cotton has 🙈🙊).

🍃It also certifies that the production has respected ecological rules on waste, water use, disposal, and protection of the environment, that it has followed rules that respect the workers, and finally, protection for the consumer’s health.

By choosing only GOTS Certified organic, we are sending a clear message to the toxic and greenwashing cotton companies: their marketing strategies are not working with us. By not supporting their brands, we are reshaping the market for better and more responsible products.🍃

We are telling the companies (the ones with only financial goals in mind) we won’t pay for their toxic or misleading products, that we demand better: more transparent and eco-conscientious products made with respect for the environment! 🌎

✅ The Fair Trade Certified Factory: logo means these brands partner with Fair Trade Certified™ factories that provide safe working conditions, community support, and additional development funds to those working on-site.
