Treeboard Organic Cutting Boards

Here are the best and Safest Cutting Board options on the market

Wood: the one-piece wood cutting board is the best option especially if the chopping blocks are made from FSC Certified wood plantations. They are one piece and they don’t need glue. Also, it needs to have a safe and non-toxic finish. Ideally locally sourced

Food grade Oil Finish: organic flaxseed oil,  organic carnauba wax, organic coconut oil, beeswax.

The Best and Safest Cutting Boards

🌿This is my number one recommended cutting board!

Their Typical lumber comes from the forests of neighboring Pennsylvania, where it’s often milled by an Amish family and kiln-dried at a father-and-son Rust Belt operation, which sells the certified sustainable hardwood to Treeboard.

In Central Maryland, they trim and shape the lumber, finishing it with plant-based organic oil and wax.

No tropical wood, no infamous forestry practices, no container ships, no glue, no petroleum products, and no low-wage labor at Treeboard.

🌿These beautiful traditional, edge-grain boards are hand-shaped from hard maple, the hardest and finest-grained North American lumber that’s perfect for cutting boards. Meanwhile, the end-grain boards, which show the growth rings on the top cutting surface, are cut from a local oak tree and finished with natural oil. Each order includes a free bottle of linseed oil so you can easily renew the shine and protect your board after scuffs and slices in the kitchen.

🌿The silicone feet keep it from sliding on the countertop.

it is very smooth and looks beautiful

TIPS for Cleaning and Maintenance:

🌿 Avoid: Olive oil, corn oil, and sunflower oil, on your cutting board. These oils experience rancidification – a process that yields a rank smell and unpleasant taste. As a cutting board touches your food, substances that can turn rancid should be avoided. Food should always be tasty!

🌿Baking Soda: To remove stains from your organic cutting board, you can safely use baking soda. Sprinkle baking soda over the spot and rub with a cloth, brush, or sponge dipped in hot water.

🌿Lemon Juice: To remove the smell, one of the easiest tricks is to cut a lemon in half and run it across the entire surface. The ascorbic acid in the lemon both reacts with and oxidizes organic material (bacteria and fats) that are the cause of smells and stains. The natural lemon oil also forces any soluble materials to be removed as well.

Now you are ready for the best organic cutting board!
