Before the Flood is n eye-opening documentary about climate change.
A film by the amazing activist and environmentalist Leonardo Di Caprio.
If you could know the truth about the threat of climate change — would you want to know? Before the Flood, presented by National Geographic, features Leonardo DiCaprio on a journey as a United Nations Messenger of Peace, traveling to five continents and the Arctic to witness climate change firsthand
A must-see.
Dark Waters is an inspiring true story of one man, Robert Billot against big polluting corporations. Based on the NY Times article.
A movie with the brave activist Mark Ruffalo, that shows the fight of a lawyer against the Forever chemicals companies.
PFAS chemicals are a family of thousands of highly toxic “forever” chemicals that don’t break down and can stay in our bodies and our environment for decades. Found in Teflon, nonstick cookware but also widely used in a variety of other consumer products, including waterproof clothing and furniture, food packaging, self-cleaning ovens, airplanes, and cars. The new film DARK WATERS exposes how chemical companies like Dupont, creator of Teflon, nonstick cookware, pollute the environment with forever chemicals causing massive impacts on public health - and have gotten away with it.
River Blue is the backstage of the fashion industry and the dirty secrets behind their manufacturing fashion shows and not-so-glamour representations. This environmental abuse is portrayed in this documentary narrated by Jason Presley. After watching this movie, you will reconsider your fashion purchases.
If you like me, don't want to be part of this irresponsible behavior, buy used clothing, or when buying new apparel look for eco-friendly, organic, and responsible brands certified by GOTS: Global Standard Organic Textile such as Wear Pact.
Kiss the Ground reveals that, by regenerating the world’s soils, we can completely and rapidly stabilize Earth’s climate, restore lost ecosystems, and create abundant food supplies. Using compelling graphics and visuals, along with striking NASA and NOAA footage, the film artfully illustrates how, by drawing down atmospheric carbon, the soil is the missing piece of the climate puzzle.
This movie is positioned to catalyze a movement to accomplish the impossible – to solve humanity’s greatest challenge, to balance the climate, and to secure our species' future.
Straws film shows why I don’t use plastic straws.
Straws are one of the single-use items contributing to landfills and the estimated 8.5 million metric tons of plastic waste entering seas annually, taking decades to hundreds of years to break down to microscopic levels now pervasive in bottled and tap water, soils, and even the air we’re breathing.
After watching this you will be looking for eco-friendly straw or going strawless, better for your lip wrinkles!
After watching this documentary I am really reconsidering eating meat or fish. There are too many dirty secrets in both industry
They are both not giving us the food they are claiming and they are selling us sick animals raised in disgusting environments filled with toxic poison to keep them alive.
For sure you don't want to eat farmed raised fish. I even not avoiding fidh il and I switched to vegan fish oil
Narrated by Kate Winslet, this entertaining and surprising documentary will challenge the way you look at the food industry. What is the true cost of food? Who pays the price? Featuring shocking undercover footage and poignant first-hand accounts from indigenous people, this one-of-a-kind documentary will permanently change your perception of food and its connection to the future of our planet.
Passionate about ocean life, a filmmaker sets out to document the harm that humans do to marine species — and uncovers alarming global corruption.
Incredibly interesting, this documentary open your eyes in way you will ever know.
It reveals the dirty secrets and the destruction behind the so unregulated fish industry.
The brave creator of this documentary go to investigate dangerous territory , where corruption and power take place.
You wont see the fish in the same way after watching this.
It will also teach how to shop and what to do.
They are telling us to not trust anybody including famous seal and organizations that are supposed to protect the ocean while are only protecting their business.
At this point I could tell you to avoid farmed first first, shop for wild fish only in local trusted store, farmers market and discover and meet local fisher man.
Very well done.
I watched this documentary about Zara and its founder. While the founder's story is inspiring since it created the empire from nothing I am not supporting Zara for the real issue he created around the world
He uses the cheapest material feeding fast fashion mania that is devastating the planet.
The production is affected in not the safest condition, they are polluting the environment with toxic dyes, toxic to the environment once full of life around the manufacturer and toxic to the worker who doesn't wear appropriate protective gear for the sake of efficiency or speed.
Zara products if they are toxic to the world are toxic to your skin. Doesn't matter how nice they may look, they are not sexy or cute if they are causing that toxicity to you, to the planet, and to the underpaid worker.
Invest in a high-quality organic fashion, you will want to wear it again and again and again by knowing how great they are to you, your skin, and the planet.
