Paravel Sustainability

Paravel Sustainable luggage are made with recycled, upcycling, sustainable material and eco-friendly materials.

100% sustainable

They repurpose what is already out in the universe or designing around the capabilities of cutting-edge eco-materials.

They prioritize use low-emission freight methods like ocean cargo, carbon offset all of their freight, employee travel, and customer shipments, and work alongside their partners to help them implement best-practices to reduce emissions in their own businesses.

They have upcycled 7.5 million+ plastic bottles recycled and transformed into product. Giving post-consumer plastic water bottles a second life by recycling them into longer-lasting products–like our Negative Nylon® and Ecocraft Canvas® styles–is one key way to reduce plastic pollution.

They planted over 16,000 trees, and have offset 4.6 million lbs of C0through their carbon-neutral shipping program.

All of thier manufacturers and supply chain partners sign their Code of Social Responsibility to ensure they share these values: fair wages, nondiscrimination, health and safety, labor rights, and dignity at work in addition to animal welfare and product safety.

Paravel Material

✅ Recycled polycarbonate: 100% post-consumer recycled polycarbonate, predominantly sourced from discarded water cooler tanks and CD jewel cases, is low-impact, strong, and ultra-lightweight, making it perfect for our carbon-neutral Aviator suitcases.

✅ Ecocraft Canvas®: Natural cotton fiber combines with thread made from recycled post-consumer plastic bottles to create a durable canvas, finished with a silicone coating (which has a lower environmental impact, contains fewer chemicals, and has a longer lifespan than other plastic-based coatings) to protect it from stains.  Ecocraft Canvas® gets the sustainable stamp of approval from the Oeko-Tex Standard 100, and the Global Recycled Standard. Giving post-consumer plastic a second life.

✅ Negative Nylon®: 100% post-consumer plastic bottles transform into an ultra-lightweight, water-resistant fabric that they use in just about every product we make. Negative Nylon® gets the sustainable stamp of approval from the Oeko-Tex Standard 100, and the Global Recycled Standard. Recycling at its best.

✅ Recycled Zipper: Recycled zippers reinforce the need to recycle and reusing for a zero waste process.

Paravel Flagship Aviator

Paravel Aviator is the world’s first carbon-neutral suitcase. In addition to using recycled materials, they offset all of the emissions from sourcing, assembly, shipping, and delivery and include the estimated carbon emissions of the first plane trip with the Aviator (across the US).
